There is a beautiful tropical fishtank, and a large reptile enclosure, and you can say hello to our friendly clinic cat Casper who can usually be found on the waiting room chairs, or sunning herself behind the food stands. Pathology Our pathology room is well equipped in order for us to perform many tests in the hospital thus ensuring faster results for more efficient treatment. We also offer the services of an independent external laboratory service for more detailed testing. Surgery Room This is where we perform all of our surgical procedures. The room is spacious, which is important for the comfort of surgeons and support nurses. The surgery room is fully equipped including: · animal surgical table that is completely adjustable · isoflurane anaesthetic machine (the safest gas anaesthetic available to pets at this stage) · X-ray viewer so that we can refer to X-rays during orthopaedic procedures · Pulse oximeter which monitors your pets heart rate and blood oxygen levels while they are under anaesthetic. We have a nurse dedicated to monitoring every anaesthetic until your pet is completely recovered Hospital Care We have a wide range of cages and runs available for your pet if the need comes for them to stay with us for a short time. These include several rooms, main hospital room, runs, separate cattery, isolation, and a special warm room for birds. These areas are cleaned and maintained throughout the day. Dental Our dental area is equipped with a scaler and polisher unit, and a series of hand held equipment in order to carry out most routine dental procedures. Radiology We offer radiographs as an addition to help investigate and diagnose health issues in your pet. We are also equipped with an automatic developer to ensure even quicker results. Treatment Area Sometimes during consults, the vet may require to take your pet out to our treatment area. This area is fully stocked with everything the vet will need to ensure treatment runs smoothly. This area is also used for treatments of hospitalised patients during the day. Consult Room We have two consultation rooms, which are spacious and well equipped, both with X-ray viewers and computer terminals. All consultations are carried out in these rooms for privacy.
