PUPPY PRESCHOOL

What is Puppy Preschool?

MainPic

Puppy pre-school is a 4-week course run here at Springvale Animal Hospital by one of our nurses. It runs every Wednesday night between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. It is a wonderful and positive socialisation and learning experience for both you as a pet owner, and your new puppy.

When should we start Puppy Preschool?

Puppies aged between 6 and 14 weeks are welcome. The aims of the classes are to help provide information to you as the owner, encourage safe socialisation with other dogs, people and children, and to answer any of your questions you may have regarding your new puppy's health and behaviour.

The 6-14 week age group is a critical learning period where dogs learn many of their behavioural traits that they will carry into adult life. We aim to help you as the owner  and your puppy get off on the right track towards being happy, healthy and a well socialised adult. This will bring profound reward to you both.

Please ring the hospital for more information or to make a booking as places do fill up quickly!
